Selfless Reflections

Upon reflecting on the year 2019 I have decided to enter 2020 with an attitude of change. There are many things I desire for myself but guess what? This year I choose to make selfless resolutions, so for 2020 I choose to focus on my family.
I realized that I spent 2019 trying to be a better friend, sister, daughter and even a better in-law but I didn't focus on being a better wife. It's so funny how you can easily get sidetracked in life trying to please everyone and end up forgetting what's most important. I don't know if this is you but I believe in trying to be better everyday.
Sometimes we have to stop thinking about ourselves for a moment and try to serve those who love us, care for us and make themselves available whenever we need them. For me that's my husband. Sometimes a selfless reflection is all you need in order to get back on track. I decided to reflect selflessly and in that process I realized that my family is my lifeline, my Oasis, my safe haven and my source of happiness.
For 2020 let us all choose to recommit ourselves selflessly to our partner and our children. Let us decide not to chase stones but rather focus on the diamonds in our lives. For me my family is my main source of happiness and for 2020 my main priority is to be a better wife, a better mother and a better friend to my husband. If I haven't learned anything from 2019, I have learnt that every union requires hard work.
Let's join forces! For 2020 let us put in whatever work needed for the sustainance of our union. In this move let us remember to stay far away from procrastination. Procrastination is the thief of joy, it steals opportunities, marriages, time and most importantly it steals someone's ability to depend on you. I now erase all procrastination from ourselves in Jesus name! Now longer will it withold what it stole from us in 2019 for now our minds are renewed.
Make the change you have always wanted to make. Do a selfless reflection and you'll see just what you need to do. Put God first, work harder, pray harder, be determine! WITH GOD WE CAN DO THIS!
