Sometimes we try to solve our problems by ourselves, the affairs of life overburdens us and we, therefore, get worn out trying to solve our problems alone. As married couples, we have to learn how to turn it over to Jesus. He said in his word “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22 KJV) Jesus is able to fight our battles, he is able and capable of turning every bad situation into a good one, he is able and capable of managing our burdens. These testing and trials that burdens us are only here to make us stronger. He didn’t promise that the road will be easy but he promises that he will be there with us. Therefore “lift up your eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh your help, your help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber” (Psalm 121: 1-3 KJV)
How wonderful it is for the Lord to invite us to cast our burdens on him. Is your finances your burden? is finding a job to provide for your family your burden? is unforgiveness your burden? is your expenses your burden today? Whatever your burden is God is capable of handling it, yes! He is capable of releasing us from the issues that burden us. There is nothing that he cannot do (Jeremiah 32:17). He is bigger than your problems; he is bigger than your situation there is no job that he cannot handle. All he asks of us is that we have faith in him, believing that he can do whatever we ask of him. I charge you and your partner today to release all your burdens on Jesus for he is capable!
